A dynamic leader and Award-winning storyteller, Pendelton oversees the unscripted slate at MTV Entertainment Studios. In this role, she manages internal show development teams and external production company partners to create some of the most compelling and influential reality television franchises, driving their global distribution and reinventing iconic IP for a new generation. These include iconic series like The Challenge, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Teen Mom, Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Catfish, Love & Hip Hop, and SHOWTIME’s Couple's Therapy.

Pendelton’s career is defined by a commitment to authentic and innovative storytelling that explore meaningful, culturally relevant narratives that spark conversations and resonate deeply with audiences. Notably, as executive producer for Are You the One? Season 8, Pendelton led the creation of the first-ever all gender-fluid cast in a reality dating series, earning a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Reality Program.

Born and raised in New York, Pendelton’s artistic journey began with the Dance Theater of Harlem, where she trained and performed. She started her career at MTV as a writer and producer on early hits like Spring Break and TRL, before progressing to key executive roles at AMC and NBCUniversal. Her creative vision, leadership, and strategic thinking have propelled MTV Entertainment Studios to achieve five of the top 10 cable series in 2024, more than any other group.

Recognized as one of the most influential women in media by Cablefax, Pendelton is also fellow of the the WICT Network’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, the premier leadership development program for senior-level professionals across media, entertainment and technology.
