Speaker Praneet Akilla
Praneet is best known for his series regular role as Chopper on the Paramount+ series SkyMed. He also recurs on CBC’s hit series Allegiance, The CW’s Nancy Drew, Freeform’s Motherland and Netflix’s October Faction. He will next star in the upcoming feature film Jersey Boy and is the narrator of the new CTV series My Pet Ate What. Praneet is also an accomplished theatre actor and producer. Over the last few years, his production company Akilla Express has made a variety of critically acclaimed short films and digital series focusing on telling unique, genre-bending stories from a Third Culture Global Majority perspective.
