Claudia Skunk is an Anishinaabe producer, with Swampy Cree family lineage, from Mishkeegogamang First Nation, currently based in Toronto. With more than three years of experience in production and project management in the film and television industry—and five years previously at imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival—Claudia brings a deep commitment to Indigenous storytelling and narrative sovereignty.

She is currently developing Radioactive Road Trip with Tanya Talaga’s production company, Makwa Creative, where she serves as co-writer and associate producer. Claudia is the Associate Producer for the APTN series Supernaturals, and recently completed her role as Impact Producer for The Knowing, a four-part CBC series by Talaga. She also worked as Associate Producer on AMPLIFY Season Three, co-directed episode six, Cosmic Carousel, premiering on APTN this summer. Additionally, she is producing Mekwâc, an interactive and immersive project set to premiere at the 25th imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival.

In 2023, Claudia completed the ‘Interactive and Immersive Fellowship’ with the National Film Board of Canada in partnership with the Indigenous Screen Office. Her past roles include Field Producer on Treaty Road, Production Manager on Amplify: Season Two, and Program Facilitator for Netflix’s, ‘Advancing Our Voices’ initiative. In 2023, she joined the imagineNATIVE Board of Directors, continuing her long-standing involvement with the festival.
