Speaker Burrad Marsh
Burrad [“Brad”] Marsh began his career as a Literary/Packaging Agent and later transitioned into development, spanning broadcast, cable, digital, distribution, and international platforms. His start in U.S. development quickly led to international co-productions, beginning with Flashpoint and then as Executive Producer on the CBC/ABC co-production of the series 18 to Life. From there, Burrad worked across the U.K. and U.S. markets, developing multiple series and gaining experience in both development and distribution of U.S., U.K., and U.K./Canada projects. He oversaw development as SVP at Amaze Film & TV during development and production of Carter, the Sony-backed Canadian co-production for CTV/WGN.
Currently, Burrad serves as the Consulting Head of U.S. Series Development for Winnipeg’s Fiasco Global Media. He also consults for the Consulate General of Canada to the United States on cross-border content initiatives, and currently has active development on both sides of the border.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Burrad brings a U.S. facing international perspective and a strategic eye for commercially viable content to his work across markets. He’s just a blue-collar city boy, "born and raised in south Detroit… and he’ll take the midnight train going anywhere".
