Speaker Dan Fill
Dan Fill is the President and co-founder of Dark Slope Inc, an entertainment company that operates a 35,000 square foot virtual production soundstage studio. Under his leadership, Dark Slope has been heralded as a Realscreen Trailblazer (2023) for their impact on the scripted and unscripted industries through the use of LED volume production, and recognized in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ (2022.)
Dan is an international award winning creator and producer of entertainment programming across television, animation and games. He has worked on dozens of high-profile projects with partners including Amazon, Netflix, Aardman Entertainment, iTV, Viacom, BBC, CBC and Turner.
Prior to Dark Slope he was the Head of Multiplatform for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation where he was named the country’s top Digital Innovator for his role in commissioning Australia’s leading streaming service ABC iView. ABC iView now accounts for over 900 million streams a year.
