Chrystine Girard holds the position of Head of international distribution of Encore Television-Distribution, part of Encore, an integrated entertainment group, one of the most prolific production companies in scripted series (comedy and drama), live comedy specials and theater plays.
She handles distribution of Encore’s full content library for international licensing and
format adaptations – Crows (Corbeaux), Dark Soul (Bête noire), Runaway (Fugueuse), For Sarah, Les Beaux Malaises, The Candidate (La candidate), Drazilion and Léa Olivier – as well as the company’s third-party drama and youth series such as A
Criminal Affair (Une affaire criminelle) The Cavaliers (Les cavaliers) and Cirkus, documentaries such as The Good Virus and factual series.
With more than 25 years of experience in the international TV and media business industry, Girard is specialized in identifying, acquiring and exploiting TV and media content rights for all media platforms, worldwide. A partner of Encore since 2020, Girard holds an Executive MBA from Concordia University and a bachelor’s degree in Translation from Université Laval. In 2017, she completed a 2 nd Executive MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership (Steinbeis University, Germany).
