Speaker Rekha Shah
Rekha Shah is Vice President, Television Licensing for Paramount Global Content Distribution handling program licensing in the Canadian market across all rights windows in both French and English Canada. In her current role, Shah licenses content from Paramount’s product library comprising 70,000 hours of series content and 4000 feature films. Shah also works closely with intercompany licensing in Canada including Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
Shah is an accomplished executive in the media industry and prior to her position at Paramount Global Content Distribution, she worked in executive positions at Alliance Atlantis and The Toronto Star and is currently serving her second term as a board member for Ontario Creates. Shah lives in Toronto with her two teenage daughters, husband and her dog Jacks.
