Adam Steinman, a seasoned formats and acquisitions expert is Executive Vice President, Global Formats and Acquisitions at Blink49 where he focuses on identifying, acquiring, and developing innovative content across both scripted and unscripted programming.
Based in Los Angeles, Steinman is leveraging his extensive experience to expand Blink49’s international footprint and format output.
Steinman’s distinguished career includes leadership roles at Warner Bros. International Television Production and a multi-year overall deal at Walt Disney Television, as well as serving as President and Founder of Mount Royal Films LLC.
His portfolio includes the global success of series such as Impractical Jokers, The Bachelor franchise, Who Do You Think You Are?, Cash Cab and Little Big Shots.
On the international front, Steinman was been responsible for acquiring the record-breaking Korean hit series, Sky Castle, for WBTV and Berlanti Productions; facilitating the multi-year CJENM/Warner Horizon first-look unscripted deal in 2020; securing a U.S. scripted first-look deal with Korean broadcaster, KBS and WB; the acquisition of the global rights to the CBC series, How to Buy a Baby, which airs on Discovery+ Sweden and is being adapted for Quebecois audiences for SRC.
