Adrienne Mitchell, co-founder of Back Alley films Productions Ltd and founder of BentFrame Film & TV was recently the lead director and EP on three seasons of her Canadian drama series Coroner, which launched as the highest-rated drama premiere for CBC in four years, and was the highest-rated launch ever for Universal TV in the UK. The first season was nominated for five Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Drama Series. Adrienne received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Direction in a Drama Series for season two, as well as a Directors Guild of Canada nomination for her directing on season three. Previous producing/directing/creator credits include her series HBO Canada's Durham County (DGC award winner for directing), Bomb Girls, and Bellevue starring Oscar-winner Anna Paquin. Adrienne has also received the Nell Shipman Award for directorial achievement and for advancing gender equity in the entertainment industry. She is currently packaging her directorial feature debut Evening Chorus with Buffalo Gal Pictures and has several scripted television series in development.
