Speaker Tom Miyauchi
Tom Miyauchi served as Head of Formats at Nippon TV and has led the global rollout of hit formats including Old Enough!, Dragons’ Den/Shark Tank, and Sokkuri Sweets (Eye Candy). He has been leading international partnerships and instrumental in Nippon TV’s format co-development projects with partners such as BBC Studios and ITV Studios, while contributing to the launch of new ventures in global streaming and character IP business.
Prior to joining Nippon TV in 2017, Tom served as a Brand Manager at Fender Music during its startup phase of its Japan/APAC operations, and previously worked at a leading advertising & media agency developing brand strategies for global brands. With cross-cultural business and life experience in six countries across US, Europe, and Asia, he continues to drive "borderless" business development on the global stage.
As of July 2025, Tom is appointed Head of Nippon TV LA Business Office.
