Dr. Lolly de Jonge is an award-winning Indigenous producer of television, film, music and podcast projects. Born in the traditional Red River homelands of the Métis (Winnipeg), Lolly is a skilled director, editor, host and interviewer. Her writing has spanned visual, audio, and print media, as well as comedy and academic publications.

Lolly is a provocateur and change agent with extensive business and community leadership experience who went from being a high school dropout and birthmother in a closed adoption to executive producer and director. As an award-winning producer, Lolly’s other achievements include two seasons of an 8-episode unscripted TV series, The Sugar Mama, two seasons of a 6-episode documentary series, Transformation to Parenthood, a feature documentary, Body of Light, a 7-episode podcast series, Alberta Midwives: Our Stories, music videos, and corporate videos.

With a PhD in ‘Human and Organizational Systems’ and Master degrees in ‘Human Development’, as well as in ‘Environment and Management’, Lolly’s projects are rooted in bringing out the best in people, the fulfillment of dreams, and making the world a better place. Currently, Lolly is the Chief Executive Officer of IndigeKin Productions Inc., a 100%-owned Indigenous media arts production company.

She lives, works and plays in Moh’kins’tsis (Calgary) and Gold Canyon, Arizona and is a proud member of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government (District 6).
