Speaker Mike Gosselin
Mike is a Métis Nation of British Columbia citizen who finds truth, healing and purpose through story. A self-taught screenwriter, he started his career at PitchFest Vancouver 2006 with a half decent idea, blind ambition and a script written on Microsoft Word. That day turned into 60+ hours of internationally broadcast scripted and unscripted TV programming.
He’s a writer, story editor, director and showrunner. His work has appeared on CBC, Netflix, APTN, Global, National Geographic, SPACE, TLC, Discovery, and Showcase and in 190 countries around the world! These days he’s hard at work writing, directing and producing an exciting new paranormal investigation show for APTN.
Mike is also super proud of his new medical procedural Open Heart, which recently completed early stage development with APTN & CBC through the ISO. He looks forward to marketing his beloved 1/2 hour comedy Hockey Parents very soon.
In his spare time, Mike currently coaches his daughter’s high school rugby team and is working hard to help his dog Carl shed a few pounds…
