Crystal Dubois is a versatile television professional with experience in live events, lifestyle and reality, Indigenous storytelling, and special projects. An alumna of SAIT’s Television Broadcast Program, she began her career as a producer in the true crime space, working on numerous documentary series for major networks and platforms and developed a specialized expertise in archival rights and clearance, mastering the intricate process of acquiring and licensing archival footage and navigating copyright law.

In 2023, Crystal joined APTN as the Lead of Special Projects, managing key programming like Hockey Night in Cree and Inuktitut, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and more. She’s also at the helm of APTN’s newest reality and lifestyle portfolio featuring fresh, unfiltered real stories that reflect the true essence of Indigenous life in the modern world.

Proudly Ojibway from Brokenhead Ojibway Nation with Eastern European roots, Crystal grew up between Winnipeg and St. Laurent, Manitoba, and has called Calgary home for the past 16 years. She's always eager to connect with fellow creatives, producers, and industry professionals who share a passion for meaningful, impactful content.
