Speaker Ashley Michel Hoban
Ashley Michel Hoban is a Writer, Director, and Producer. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, where she watched too much television. She received her MFA in Writing and Directing from New York University’s Graduate Film Program. Some of her previous work includes The Girl From Plainville (Hulu), Dr. Death (Peacock), Happy! (SYFY), and Marco Polo (Netflix).
She served as the creator and showrunner on the second season of Dr. Death. She recently wrote, produced, and directed on the upcoming series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy (Peacock), and is currently in development on several projects.
Ashley Michel is based in New York, where she still watches too much television.
