Speaker Roma Roth
Roma Roth is the Showrunner and Executive Producer of the CTV/Fremantle series Sullivan's Crossing which has maintained its position as the #1 rated drama for the channel. The series, which just completed its third season, stars Morgan Cohan (When Hope Calls), Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) and Scott Patterson (Gilmore Girls) and has become an instant hit around the world including the US. Recently having launched on Netflix Canada, Sullivan's Crossing maintained its top 10 position on the platform for over three weeks.
Roma is also the brainchild behind the hit Netflix original series Virgin River which she set up as a straight to series ten-episode order and which quickly became a global phenomenon. One of only a handful of shows ever to spend 100 days on Netflix’s top ten list Virgin River, which is now in its seventh season, has become the longest running original series for the platform.
Roma is also the President of Reel World Management (RWM), a production and distribution company that develops and finances feature and TV productions. Her extensive credits include Executive Producing and co-financing over 70 TV Movies as well as writing, producing and directing The Stepchild (starring Paul Johansson and Lauren Holly). Roma has been nominated for a Canadian Screen Award and is a member of the WGC, DGC, PGA, and the Television Academy.
